Users can connect a personal credit card to Nexonia Expenses and import transactions, then claim reimbursable expenses based on their personal transaction information. Using a personal credit card integration benefits the user by using the date and amount from the transaction information to populate the expense item. When connected successfully, transactions are delivered into your account automatically daily, typically appearing within 24-48 hours of being posted by the vendor.
To ensure that the broadest possible spectrum of institutions is available for connections, Nexonia integrates with multiple third-party integration service providers on the back-end.
Although thousands of institutions are available to connect with, please note that not all credit cards will integrate successfully. Personal card integrations that initially integrate successfully may be disrupted or cease to integrate later on due to changes at the financial institution or integration service provider.
Due to the myriad of institutions and card types, and because the integration service runs through another provider on the back-end, it is not possible for us to offer technical support for personal credit card integrations.
Adding credit cards using either method means the transactions are reimbursable to the employee. For any other cards which should be non-reimbursable, such as business or corporate cards, speak to your internal administrator, who will need to set the card up.
How to Add a Personal Credit Card
To add a new personal credit card, log in to Nexonia and go to Expenses > Cards > Manage Cards > Add Card from your Bank:
Note: If there is already a business or corporate credit card linked to the account, it will appear here. Users can connect as many cards as they need to their Nexonia profile.
Search for the financial institution >> choose it using the arrow icon >> enter your banking credentials and answer security questions if prompted:
Choose the account and currency > OK.
Navigate back to the Cards window, and click Check for new transactions:
Please allow 24 hours on the first transfer for transactions to load. Transactions will appear in this window daily after being posted to your statement.
