A "proxy" is someone who can read or write on behalf of another user. Nexonia Administrators have the permission to manage this access and assign proxies. If you are an Administrator, or your Administrator has granted you permission to proxy on behalf of another user, you will be able to proxy on the web and mobile application for Timesheets and Expenses.
Proxying is commonly used for executive assistants or travel managers, or anyone who is creating expenses on behalf of another user.
HOW TO PROXY ON THE WEB:
1. Log in to your Nexonia account on the web and navigate to the module homepage (e.g. Expenses homepage, Timesheets homepage etc.). In this example, let's create expenses on behalf of another user.
2. From the Expenses homepage, you'll notice your name in the field on the left - this is a dropdown menu. Click on the down arrow to expand the menu. Here you'll see a list of users who you have permission to proxy or act for. Choose the person who you'd like to proxy for.
3. You'll now see the user's name in the field on the left, as well as their expense reports. You can now read and/or write expenses on behalf of this user, including accessing their receipts and managing their integrated credit card transaction (if applicable).
In the example below, Pheobe Admin can proxy on behalf of Emma Submitter. Emma could have an expense report where they've been saving receipts and Pheobe Admin could then create expense items from those receipts on behalf of Emma.
