Filtering Projects from Intacct by Project Status

If you are using the Intacct project accounting module, the Nexonia configuration settings can be used to limit the import of Intacct projects into Nexonia based on the project status assigned to them in Intacct. This article provides directions to the Administrator on how to filter which Intacct projects import into Nexonia.

Enabling the Project Status Import Filter in Nexonia

Step 1: Navigate to the INTACCT (Label may vary) tab>> Integration Setup >> Edit Parameters >> Filter Project by Project Status.

Step 2: After navigating to this feature, you will be presented with two options:

Set up Inclusion List - use a list of Intacct project statuses for projects that we want to include in Nexonia

Set up Exclusion List - use a list of Intacct project statuses for projects that we want to exclude from Nexonia

Selecting one of these options will present a text box (Project Status Inclusion List: / Project Status Exclusion List:) where we can enter a comma-separated list of Intacct project statuses to either include/exclude

e.g. On hold, Complete, Cancelled

Step 2: Click OK to save your configuration change.

Step 3: Run a Configuration Sync to see the updated list of projects in Nexonia

If projects with unwanted statuses are already in Nexonia, they will become 'Inactive' after the configuration sync with this filtering.
