Cloning a Report

 Note: In order to clone a report, your role permissions must allow you to Create or Share access to Reports. If you need to learn more about your role, please speak with your administrator.

Cloning is the way to copy a report in Nexonia's Reporting module. When cloning, the report template will be duplicated, and the clone can be modified based on the specific changes required.

Navigate to: Reporting. Click on Actions >> Clone next to the report you'd like to clone.

In the Name field, enter a new title or leave the auto-populated name as is (the default will be the existing report's name with the suffix "- clone"). Afterwards, click OK.

System-default reports (when enabled by your Administrator), where the Author is displayed as Nexonia, can be used as a report template. Although these system-default reports cannot be Run on their own, they can be cloned. The cloned version of the system-default report can be Run instead.
