When using the Nexonia Expenses mobile app to capture expense receipt images, the images can optionally be saved to the device's camera roll in addition to being saved within the Expenses app, by capturing the receipt from a desired expense report.
Enabling the "Save a Copy" Feature
Step 1: From the Expenses app home screen, tap the gear icon to access the settings page.
Step 2: The "Save a Copy" setting controls whether or not receipt images captured from the Expenses app will also be saved on the device's camera roll.
Users may wish to turn off "Save a Copy" to conserve storage space on their device.
We recommend that "Save a Copy" be turned on if storage space limitations are not an immediate concern.
Using the "Save a Copy" Feature
Step 1: Open the desired expense report that you would like to add a new receipt to.
TIP: Click 'New' to create a new expense report or click 'View All' to access your full list of expense reports.
Step 2: Click the camera icon to use your device's camera to capture an image of a hard copy of a receipt.
TIP: See Receipt Upload Tips to learn more about uploading receipts to the mobile app, web, and using email.
Step 3: After successfully capturing a picture of your receipt, click Save. Clicking save will save your receipt to the expense report, as well as save a copy of the receipt to your device's local storage.
