The Unfiled Expenses feature in Nexonia helps you store your receipts without having to put them into an expense report; working almost like a virtual wallet. You can upload receipts from the web, or take photos of receipts on the mobile app, all to be store within Unfiled Expenses.
This article shows you, a Nexonia User, how to use the Unfiled Expenses feature.
Step 1: On your Nexonia homepage, click the Expenses tab.
Step 2: In the upper-left are two tabs: Unfiled Expenses, and Reports. Let's start in the Unfiled Expenses tab.
Step 3: Click Upload Receipt to upload a receipt from your computer. Once you're done editing the expense details, the expense will be stored in the Unfiled Expenses section until you move it to an expense report.
Step 4: Alternatively, use the Nexonia Expenses Mobile App to take a photo of your receipt. On the app homepage, tap Try our new quick expense.
Step 5: You'll be brought to Unfiled Expenses on the app. Tap Capture a receipt and go through the steps of adding a receipt via the mobile app.
Step 6: Any receipts added via the mobile app will sync to the web. To add an Unfiled Expense to an expense report, click the arrow next to the amount.
Step 7: Next, click Move to Report.
Step 8: Find the report you'd like to add the expense to and click Move here.
The receipt will be moved to the selected report.
